Office Hours – 8:00 A.M.-5:00 P.M. Monday though Friday.
After business hours, messages will be taken by an answering service.

     All refuse MUST be contained in garbage cans or bags not to exceed 33-gallon size and not to exceed 50 pounds per container. All refuse and recyclable items should be placed no more than 2-3 feet from the edge of the road. Please have trash on the curb the night before so it is waiting for the drivers when they arrive, as collection times vary from city to city. Our drivers radio the office to advise us of those customers who fail to place their refuse out in time for pickup.

Yard waste service
     Yard waste collection starts some time in April and runs until some time in November.

     All yard waste must be contained in 30- gallon biodegradable paper bags or 30- gallon garbage cans not to exceed 50 pounds. All cans used must be marked with an X, facing the street in order to be collected. Branches must be no longer than 3ft. in length and 6”in diameter, they must also be bundled in order to be collected. Check with the city to find out the exact start and end dates of the yard waste collection seasons. You can find a link to The City of Rockford here or on our links page.
 

Holidays
     No collection on New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day or whenever the disposal facility is closed. If your pickup falls on or after these holidays, collection will be one day later. If any of the above holidays fall on a Saturday or Sunday, your pickup day will be unaffected.
